Project Overview
Mercedes-AMG is represented in retail outlets worldwide by sales experts, primarily through Mercedes-Benz sales channels and independent AMG dealerships.
The aim of the collaboration with salestech Academy and the licensing of stg Learn (formerly smicroSuite) is to provide standardised training for all sales experts on products and the competition. At the same time, the aim is to strengthen enthusiasm for the brand and its technology.
The implementation focuses on modern, engaging learning content and a flexible platform for contemporary blended learning. One challenge is the ongoing development of a solution that offers a high degree of customisation for learners and is easy to use for administrators.
Following the successful launch of the Mercedes-AMG learning platform, it is now also being used by the top-end luxury brand Mercedes-Maybach and the G-Class product family. As a result, the number of participants is rising steadily.

Mercedes-AMG requires a solution tailored to the needs of the automotive industry that offers efficient, intuitive operation. With stg Learn, a central platform has been integrated into Mercedes-AMG’s training landscape, presenting industry-specific content, supporting blended learning processes, making product information easily accessible, promoting learning motivation through gamification, and simultaneously delivering relevant KPIs.
Blended Learning Journey
Mercedes-AMG makes full use of the capabilities of stg Learn to offer participants a comprehensive blended learning experience.
All learning formats are utilised – from web-based training and live streams to face-to-face training and events. At the same time, the platform serves as a continuously available, flexible knowledge library and enables the transparent measurement of learning outcomes and performance. Furthermore, all relevant product information and training materials are available at any time and from anywhere.
Motivation through Gamification
The scorecard is a ranking and levelling system developed specifically for the Mercedes-AMG learning environment. It comprises three progressive levels, which increase in terms of requirements, depth of content and level of interaction. By achieving defined goals, participants can gradually advance to higher levels.
The gamification system is a central component of the learning process at Mercedes-AMG and encourages healthy competition among learners. The resulting motivation supports sustainable and effective knowledge transfer.
